Dues Calculation

This project is NOT a for-profit venture. Baker Street is run by volunteers and is funded by the members that use it. The monthly amount will likely be a rather small amount so payments for the year will be collected.

There are two main costs to running the instance. The domain (bakerstreet.buzz), which gives us "somewhere" to go is renewed annually and the server hosting which is renewed monthly. The hosting has multiple tiers that are suitable to number of users and the amount of content that is being posted. Even with the higher tiers the more friends and family we have participating the more we can share the costs.

At the start of each month, the monthly costs will be divided by the number of members. This will set the rate for the month. That amount will be what is deducted from the amount that was collected at the start of the year or when you signed up.

Donations are welcome and will be spread among all users when able. If the donation pot cannot cover at least a months worth for all users then it will sit until it can with further donations.
